Opferschale mit zentralem Omphalos, markant nach innen gezogenem Umbruch und trichterförmigem, leicht ausschwingendem Rand mit waagerecht ausgestellter Randlippe. Auf dem nach innen eingezogenen Umbruch ein ionisches Kymation. Im Inneren der Schale rund um den inwärts hochgewölbten Omphalos ein Fries aus sechs Lotusblüten mit fünf Lotusblättern dazwischen. Fleckige Patina mit leichten Oxydauflagen. Durchmesser 13,8 cm. Höhe 5,2 cm.

A Greek silver phiale with lotus decoration, 6th - 5th century B.C.
Offering bowl with central omphalos, strikingly inwardly drawn rim and funnel-shaped, slightly flaring rim with horizontally flared lip.
An Ionian cymation on the inwardly drawn rim. Inside the bowl, around the inwardly curved omphalos, a frieze of six lotus blossoms with five lotus leaves in between. Spotted patina with light oxide layers. Diameter 13.8 cm. Height 5.2 cm.
