Alabaster. Aufwendig geschnittenes Hochrelief mit Darstellung der Armenspeisung. Im Vordergrund spendet eine der Zentralfiguren Brot und Eier an drei halbnackte Männer auf dem Boden. Die in Profil gezeigte Figur aus der Gruppe rechts beobachtet stillschweigend das Geschehen. Im Hintergrund öffnet sich durch eine Arkade der Blick auf die Stadtarchitektur. Restauriert, wenige unmerkliche Fehlstellen. Im gesockelten Rahmen aus Holz. Maße der Tafel 26,5 x 21 cm, Gesamthöhe 42 cm.
Nach dem Vorbild der Speisung der Armen auf der Kanzel des Doms von Trier, 1570-72 von Hans Ruprecht Hoffmann geschaffen.

Elaborately chiselled alabaster tablet in high relief depicting the feeding of the poor. In the foreground, one of the central figures is handing out bread and eggs to three half-naked men on the ground. The figure shown in profile in the group on the right is observing the scene in silence. In the background, the city's architecture can be viewed through an arcade. Restored, with a few imperceptible defects. On a wooden frame on a pedestal. Dimensions of the tablet 26.5 x 21 cm, total height 42 cm.
Modelled on the Feeding the Poor on the pulpit of Trier Cathedral, created by Hans Ruprecht Hoffmann in 1570-72.
