Séduisant exemplaire de l’édition originale, relié par Canape, complet de ses couvertures et de ses témoins. Vicaire, I, col. 460.

In-8 (218 x 140 mm). Édition originale. Reliure signée de Canape, datée 1923 : maroquin ébène, encadrements dorés avec fleurons d’angles sur les plats, dos à nerfs et caissons ornés, gardes de papier marbré, couverture jaune conservée, tranches dorées sur témoins.
Provenance : encartée dans l’exemplaire, une lettre autographe signée de Paul Villeboeuf, datée du 8 juin 1941, qui donne son avis à un certain « M. Masse », à propos du présent exemplaire. Il lui confirme que son édition est bien l’originale, et que, « quant à la reliure, Canape est un relieur très honorable, moderne c’est entendu, mais qui ne déprécie en aucune façon un volume ».
