1960/70er Jahre. Bronze, braun patiniert. H. 66 cm, Steinsockel: H. 11 cm. Auf der Vorderseite sign: Foltyn und monogr.: TF. Der filigran durchbrochene, mystisch anmutende 'Berg der Kreuze' erinnert an den populären Wallfahrtsort in Litauen, der zum politischen Symbol gegen die kommunistische Herrschaft der Sowjets in Litauen wurde - Polnischer Architekt und Bildhauer, nach einem Studium an der Fakultät für Architektur an der Technischen Universität Danzig als freischaffender Künstler tätig, stattete zahlreiche sakrale Innenräume in Polen aus und schuf Werke für den Öffentl. Raum, zahlreiche Einzel- und Gruppenausst. u.a. in Hannover, Aachen, Lille, Thionville, Dijon und Cannes.
