Das Tafelklavier von Brocks wurde dem Brandstempel auf dem Resonanzboden zufolge 1842 in Benfeld gebaut und ist in Nussbaum furniert. Erhalten sind das originale Dustcover, sowie die beiden Kerzenhalter, welche in die Halterungen am Vorsatzbrett eingesteckt werden können.
Das hinterstimmige Tafelklavier besitzt eine englische Stoßzungenmechanik. Die Dämpfung ist nicht geteilt. Die Klaviatur mit dem Umfang CC-f4 hat ein Stichmaß von 49,1cm. Das mit belederten Hämmerchen ausgestattete Instrument besitzt einen geteilten Steg (CC-A# und H-f4).

According to the branding on the soundboard squarepiano was built in 1842 by Brocks in Benfeld. It is veneered in walnut. The original dustcover and the two candle holders, which can be inserted into fittings on the front board, have been preserved.
The piano is equipped with an English action. The damping is not divided. The keyboard with the range CC-f4 has a 3-octave-span of 49.1cm. The hammers are covered with leather.
The Piano has a divided bridge (CC-A# and H-f4).
