Das Instrument wurde vermutlich in der Schweiz oder Süddeutschland gebaut. Es weist Merkmale des französischen Klavierbaus, wie die „niche à chien“ (franz. „Hundehütte“) im Bereich der Pedalerie auf.
Das Instrument mit der Seriennummer 5076 ist in Nussbaum furniert. Es ist in optisch gutem Zustand. Zwei Tragegriffe zu jeder Seite erleichtern den Transport. Die Klaviatur (FF-f4) hat ein Stichmaß von 47,4cm.

UNSIGNED PIANINO, PROBABLY SOUTHERN GERMANY OR SWITZERLAND, AROUND 1840-1850
The instrument was probably built in Switzerland or southern Germany. It has features of French piano making, such as the "niche à chien" (French for "doghouse") in the area of the pedalboard.
The instrument with the serial number 5076 is veneered in walnut. It is in good optical condition. Two carrying handles on each side facilitate transport. The keyboard (FF-f4) has a 3-octave-span of 47.4cm.
