Achtkantiger, in rund übergehender glatter Lauf im Kaliber 13 mm mit konisch verstärkter Mündung. Die Laufoberseite vollflächig über vergoldetem Grund floral tief geschnitten zwischen zwei Kartuschen mit Porträt- bzw. Kriegerdarstellung. Geschnittenes Radschloss mit en suite zum Lauf floral gearbeiteter, im Untergrund vergoldeter Schlossplatte. Das außenliegende Rad mit durchbrochen gearbeiteter, verschraubter Radabdeckung, gefedertem Pfannendeckel, Auslöseknopf und Sicherungshebel. Schaft aus Nussbaumholz mit fast vollflächigen, gravierten Band- und spiralförmigen Beineinlagen. Auf dem gedrückten Kugelknauf gravierter Kriegerkopf. Die Schlossgegenseite mit verschraubtem, eisernem Gürtelhaken. Hölzerner Ladestock mit eisernem Dopper. Ungewöhnlich aufwendig verarbeitete Pistole in schönem Zustand. Länge 51 cm.

A South German bone-inlaid wheellock puffer with chiselled, gilt barrel and lock, circa 1580
Smooth, octagonal to round barrel in 13 mm calibre with conical, reinforced muzzle. The top of the barrel deeply chiselled all-over with a floral décor between two cartouches with a portrait and a warrior, respectively. Chiselled wheellock with gilt lockplate decorated en suite with a floral design. The external wheel with bolted openwork wheel cover, spring-loaded pan cover, release button and safety lever. Walnut stock decorated nearly all-over with bone inlays of engraved bands and spirals. On the compressed ball pommel an engraved warrior head. The sideplate with bolted iron belt hook. Wooden ramrod with iron tip. Exceptionally elaborately crafted pistol in fine condition. Length 51 cm.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
