Walter Schott, Chryselephantin ball player in 1897, signed, gilded Bronze, ivory finely carved, depicting a young beauty in loosely around your body flowing robe and unattached hair knots, playing with a ball, on a round, ornamentally decorated plinth, on light marble base, the ivory part is more drying, cracking, ball-glued, H sculpture approx: 25.3 cm, H total approx 35.3 cm. Info: this sculpture is the most famous work of the artist, the Original in Bronze is life-size in the flower garden at the southern end of the Königsallee in Düsseldorf, Germany, known also the scaled-down version in Meissen porcelain, and various versions in other materials.
