A famille verte brushpot in Kangxi style, 19th - 20th century
A cylindrical brushpot (bitong) masterly decorated with a bird on a branch between blossoms. On the rear side four columns with Chinese calligraphy (describing a scene with a resting scholar) and red stamps. Intact. No cracks, no chips! Height 15 cm. Diameter 12 cm.

Provenance: From a West German private collection (W. E., Cologne).

Famille-verte-Pinselwaschgefäß im Kangxi-Stil, 19. - 20. Jhdt.
Zylindrisches Pinselwaschgefäß (bitong) mit Vogelszene auf der Vorderseite und Kalligraphie auf der Rückseite. Meisterlich dargestellt ist ein Vogel auf einem Zweig zwischen Blüten. Aufglasur-Malerei. Intakt. Höhe 15 cm. Durchmesser 12 cm.
