Diese trapezförmige Kastenzitter (Cetra trapezoidale a percussione – Yang Ch’in, Yang-Kin, Yang-Quin Zitter) wurde 2008 im Auktionshaus Michael Zeller in Lindau am Bodensee als „Koto im originalen Kasten mit Goldlackbemalung, Eingelassene Schublade mit Spielhammer. Japan, um 1900.“ erworben. Auf dem bemalten Deckel u.a. zwei Gedichtstexte. Den Resonanzboden zieren zwei kunstvoll geschnitzte Rosetten. Die Besaitung bilden 3 Einzelchöre und 11 dreifache Saitenchöre, welche über zwei Mittelstege verlaufen. Der Stimmstock ist mit Stimmwirbeln aus Messing versehen. Der Spielhammer dient gleichzeitig auch als Stimmhammer.

This trapezoidal box trembler (Cetra trapezoidale a percussione - Yang Ch'in, Yang-Kin, Yang-Quin trembler) was acquired in 2008 at the auction house Michael Zeller in Lindau on Lake Constance as a “Koto im originalen Kasten mit Goldlackbemalung, Eingelassene Schublade mit Spielhammer. Japan, um 1900.“ Painted cover with two poems on it. The soundboard is decorated with two elaborately carved rosettes. The stringing consists of 3 single choirs and 11 triple string choirs, which run over two middle bridges. The wrestplank is equipped with brass tuning pins. The playing hammer also serves as a tuning hammer.
