A good copy of the second edition of this important and well-illustrated work on the topography of Italy with two splendid large-format bird's-eye views of Venice and Rome. Compared to the first edition (see previous lot) there are 10 more tables.

Engraved frontispiece by Sandrart, title with woodcut vignette, woodcut headpieces and initials, 53 engraved plates including two splendid large-format and folding bird's-eye views of Venice and Rome, with errata (small wormtrack in the inner margin at N1-N4, final leaf reinforced in the lower corner, some browning in text, without final text leaf). The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
