A Roman golden lunula pendant, 1st - 3rd century
Along the rims a fine filigree wire, at each tip a granulation bead, plus 15 small set glass inlays and a central glass stone. Eyelet at the top centre. Exceptional design. Intact. Width 2.3 cm. Height 2.5 cm. Weight 3.6 g.

Provenance: From a private collection in the Mosel valley.

Nach unten offener Lunula-Anhänger. Entlang der Ränder ein feiner Filigrandraht, an beiden Spitzen je eine Granulationsperle. Dazu 15 kleine gefasste Glaseinlagen und ein zentraler Glasstein. Oben mittig Öse. Ausgefallenes Design. Intakt. Breite 2,3 cm. Höhe 2,5 cm. Gewicht 3,6 g.
