Billi Thanner

Billi Thanner is an Austrian artist living and working in Vienna.

Thanner is one of the brightest representatives of the new generation of contemporary actionism, which consists in the freedom of the artist to actively control his actions and to be able to do something outside the boundaries. Thanner creates fictionalized female portraits using various glass painting techniques. The artist also demonstrates photorealistic, yet unconventional motifs, using a special technique of painting on technical soft film. Audience interaction is a crucial part of her work.
