Édouard-Alexandre Dammouse

Édouard Dammouse is a French painter and ceramist. Second son of Pierre-Adolphe Dammouse (1817-1880), employed as a sculptor and decorator at the Manufacture de Sèvres. Félix Lafond (1850-1917) and his friend Édouard Dammouse worked for the potter François Laurin in Bourg-la-Reine. Édouard Dammouse goes with his brother Albert to move towards earthenware whose range of colors for decoration was more extensive than for porcelain. He will learn the trade from Félix Bracquemont.
