Franz Horny
Franz Theobald Horny was a German Romantic painter. He studied at the Weimar School of Painting and Drawing.
Franz Theobald Horny was strongly influenced by the Nazarene view of art, but through his work he achieved his own position through the graphic inventiveness of his drawings, as well as the suggestive use of line and colour as a means of design. However, he was more attached to the ideal landscape and less to the study of nature.
