She received her art education at the University of Bielefeld and lives and works in Freiburg.
In each abstract painting Vallentin manages to achieve a delicate balance between color and form, where there is a strong sense of harmony. Geometric rectangular fields of earthy tones line up, overlapping each other, gently merging and leaving room for association.
