Giovanni Reder
Giovanni Reder was an Italian painter who lived and worked in Rome in the 18th century. He was the son and pupil of Christian Reder, a famous painter of battle scenes who worked for the Rospillosi family for most of his career. This family was famous for breeding horses, which sometimes took part in city races, as evidenced, for example, by the portrait of a "Capriolo" horse with a jockey in the Museum of Rome.Date and place of birt: | 31 march 1693, Rome, Italy |
