Hans Ebensperger

Hans Ebensperger was an artist from South Tyrol who consistently pursued his own path and liberated the post-war art scene from conservative traditions. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, he worked as a freelance artist in Meran. His works are characterized by an intensive examination of the landscape, whereby he did not depict nature, but searched for the inner picture. Ebensperger had numerous exhibitions, including joint ones with other artists such as Peter Fellin.
