Hans-Jörg Holubitschka

Hans-Jörg Holubitschka is a German landscape and abstractionist painter.

Hans-Jörg studied at the Art Academy of Düsseldorf, lived and worked there. His work is mainly devoted to landscape painting. He painted the most beautiful places in Europe, but the color effects and exaggeration of the image in his paintings refer to the artists of American color field painting. Holubitschka transforms real landscapes - coastal, mountainous, or otherwise - into semi-abstract color fields in his works.
