Heinrich Strieffler
Heinrich Strieffler was a German painter who preferred motifs from his Palatinate homeland. After elementary school, he did an apprenticeship as a lithographer in Neustadt an der Haardt. There were already important exhibitions of his works during his lifetime, for example in 1917 in Frankfurt am Main and in 1921 in the Glaspalast in Munich. The former home of Strieffler in Landau is now a museum and gallery of the artist and the works of his daughter Marie Strieffler.
