He is the artistic heir to the tradition of the Brandywine School, artists who worked in the Brandywine River countryside of Delaware and Pennsylvania, depicting its people, animals, and landscapes. He works successfully in drawing, lithography, etching, egg tempera, watercolor, and mixed media.
