Jean Xceron was an American abstractionist painter of Greek origin. He immigrated to the United States in 1904 and studied at the Corcoran School of Art. He is known in the art world as a "pioneer of non-figurative painting. Ixeron painted figurative motifs, still lifes and portraits. His work is in the collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Hirshhorn Museum and the Sculpture Garden.
