Johann Holmstedt
Johann Holmstedt was a Swedish impressionist painter whose favorite subject was the fjords of Norway.
He lived and worked most of his life in Berlin, but spent each summer in Balestrand on the Sogn Fjord, which is called the "King of Fjords" in Norway and whose views inspired the artist. Holmstedt painted many paintings of beautiful mountain, rock and lake landscapes.
