Oskar Manigk

Oskar Manigk is a German painter and graphic artist. Currently lives and works in Ickeritz and Berlin, Germany.

Since the 1970s he has created abstract drawings, caricatures, inscriptions, collages, poems as well as films, in addition to his typically expressive-figurative paintings. After the fall of communism, he showed his work in many exhibitions. In 2005 he received the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Cultural Prize for his life's work.
