Patrick Réault

Patrick Réault is a French artist, musician and actor.

In the mid-1970s, Réault worked as a theater actor and musician in a band in Clermont-Ferrand. However, it soon became clear that music and theater were only part of his modes of expression, and painting has become his primary form of creativity over the past 26 years. Réault was inspired by two masters, De Stael and Turner, and through their influence he became an integral part of the Provençal movement. In 1982, Réault had his first private exhibition in Marseille, which was a turning point in his career.

Patrick Réault's work is characterized by a constant evolution of technique. Starting with watercolor, he worked in oil for ten years, but acrylics gave him greater freedom in his work. His painting is spontaneous, rhythmic and intense, like his colorful landscapes.
