Rainer Tappeser is a German artist. Tappeser's early works from the 1960s and 1970s stand in the tradition of concrete art, which was evident in Germany in the late 1960s. In later work complexes, Rainer Tappeser directly processed his experiences and impressions that he was able to gain while flying. Landscapes and clouds are the formative starting points that he abstracts in his paintings. He is a member of the West German Artists' Association and the German Artists' Association. Tappeser lives and works in Düsseldorf and north-eastern France.
