Theodor Recknagel
Theodor Recknagel was a German genre and portrait painter from the Munich school. He studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich in the class of antiquities. He is known for Landscape, portrait painting of notables, children, bisque dolls. After 1921 he created several portraits of Cardinal Michael von Faulhaber. Some of his motifs appeared as artist postcards.
