Max Fuhrmann the Younger was a German painter, draftsman, graphic artist, bookplate artist and commercial artist. After his first lessons with his father, the Munich painter Max Fuhrmann the Elder, Max Fuhrmann became a student at the Royal School of Applied Arts in Munich. After completing his apprenticeship, he worked in graphics. After the First World War, Fuhrmann worked as a commercial artist. It was not until 1936 that he turned to painting. Fuhrmann was a member of the Reich Association of Visual Artists in Germany until 1933. He showed his works u. a. at the Great Berlin Art Exhibition. From 1940 to 1944 he was represented with paintings at all major German art exhibitions in Munich.
