Werner Persy was a German painter and graphic artist from Trier who received the Ramboux Prize for his life's work in 2000. He studied at the State Art Academy in Düsseldorf and created works for various public and religious institutions in Germany and abroad. His paintings and graphics are held in public and private collections worldwide, and he participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
