Yuji Takeoka is a Japanese and German sculptor who lives and works in Düsseldorf.
He studied sculpture at Kyoto University of the Arts and at the Academy of Fine Arts Düsseldorf. Known for his "pedestal sculptures," Yuji Takeoka creates elaborate sculptures that emphasize the relationship between the object and the outside world.
