Bernd Kastenholz is a German painter and graphic artist, sculptor, and member of the Palatinate Secession.
Bernd attended the State Art School of Mainz and studied graphics and design, and continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. The models for Kastenholz's images are often taken from the entertainment arts - circus jugglers, dancers and singers, which he reformats in his vivid graphic style.
In addition to his paintings, Kastenholz creates hand-colored prints, fun and creative objects from cardboard, hard foam and found materials. And Kastenholz assembles sculptures from a variety of colorfully painted galvanized steel sheets.
