Herman Verelst
Herman Verelst was a Dutch painter of the Dutch Golden Age, a member of The Hague Guild of St. Luke, son of the painter Peter Verelst, who started a whole dynasty of Dutch artists. Like his older brothers Simon and Johannes, he studied under his father. He became widely known for his portraits, still lifes and religious paintings.
