Fritz Quant was a German artist of the first third of the twentieth century. He is known as a painter, graphic artist and designer.
Fritz Quant developed his own style in his work, combining Post-Impressionism and Expressionism. He created paintings including landscapes and genre paintings. He also illustrated guidebooks, worked with newspapers and designed advertisements, including for wine and tobacco. During the hyperinflation in Germany, he sketched designs for local banknotes. In his later years he concentrated on interior design.
