Georgy Alexandrovich Pesis (Russian: Георгий Александрович Песис) was a Soviet artist. He was a pupil of Professor V.M. Oreshnikov, a representative of the traditional academic Russian school. In the field of monumental painting, Georgy Pesis performed a number of panels and murals in the interiors of buildings in Leningrad and its suburbs. He designed the mosaic panel with the portrait of Lenin for the Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Station.
