Vladimir Fyodorovich Stozharov (Russian: Владимир Фёдорович Стожаров) was a Soviet artist of the mid-twentieth century. He is known as a painter, a master of landscape whose art is deeply connected with the Russian countryside and national traditions.
Vladimir Stozharov created works that predominantly depicted the nature and architecture of the Russian North, as well as the everyday life of the peasantry. He traveled throughout the USSR and abroad, creating sketches that became the basis for his paintings. His works, including still lifes with elements of Russian household objects, were characterized by warmth and deep national character.
Stozharov's name is significant in the history of Russian painting of the mid-twentieth century. He is considered a follower of the best traditions of the Russian realist school.
