Eva & Adele are an artistic couple who claim to have "landed their time machines" in Berlin after the Wall fell in 1989, claiming to be "hermaphrodite twins from the future". Both refuse to tell their real name or age. They are famous mainly for sharing an invented gender, which is neither male nor female.
They are also known for their performance art, they have been represented by an art gallery since 1997, as they make paintings, video art, photography and costume design. They also have their own perfume line and a watch with Swatch.
They have been recognized as the world's longest running performance art duo and are often photographed as fashion icons at art events, like Art Basel Miami Beach and the Venice Biennale.
Conrad Felixmüller was a twentieth-century German artist, born Conrad Felix Müller. He is known as a painter, graphic artist, illustrator and printmaker, a representative of the New Materiality movement, who worked in the Expressionist style.
Felixmüller created about 2,500 paintings and graphic drawings, the main motif of which was the human being. The artist considered himself a socially critical expressionist, and his works reflected scenes from everyday life. In the 1930s, many of his works were confiscated by the Nazis as examples of degenerate art and destroyed. As a result of the bombing of Berlin in 1944, Felixmüller lost much of his work.
Heinrich Bürkel was a German artist of the mid-nineteenth century. He is known as a painter and graphic artist, representative of the Biedermeier style.
Heinrich Bürkel specialized in genre and landscape paintings, especially winter landscapes. He often used Staffage and depicted animals. His work showed the influence of the old Dutch and Italian masters. Bürkel enjoyed great popularity, his paintings were actively acquired for private collections, including in America. The master painted about 1000 paintings and created about 6000 drawings.

Kaspar Heinrich Merz was a Swiss draftsman and copper and steel engraver. From 1821, with the help of "a few patrons", he was "apprenticed" to the copper engraver Johann Jakob Lips in Zurich for four years. He also worked as an engraver for the magazine Historical Entertainment. Merz had also acquired a reputation for his color engravings, some of which he created over years of individual work.
Klaus Fußmann is a contemporary German painter. He studied from 1957 to 1961 at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and from 1962 to 1966 at the Berlin University of the Arts. From 1974 to 2005, he was a professor at the Berlin University of the Arts. His work has won several awards, such as the Villa Romana prize in 1972 and the Art Award of Darmstadt in 1979. Major presentations of his work include exhibitions at the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin, 1972; the Mathildenhöhe in Darmstadt, 1982; the Kunsthalle Emden, 1988; the Kunsthalle Bremen, 1992; and the Museum Ostwall in Dortmund, 2003. In 2005 Fußmann completed a monumental ceiling painting in the Mirror Hall of the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg.
