My paintings are abstract in nature and are created anew each time in the process of intuitively following the imagination, in most cases without any preliminary sketches. They are multi-layered surfaces with a rich texture that exposes the underlying layers of paint, with rhythm, direction and a complex color pattern.
When I start my work, I mentally return to a moment of the past, real or imaginary, when I experienced certain emotions. When I relive it within myself, I work on transfering these emotions to the surface of the canvas. This process is akin to meditation, when emotional images splash out on the painting, as if without my conscious participation. A paint stroke is a reflection of a certain feeling. As emotions quickly replace each other, so do paint strokes overlap each other in the process of my work. Starting with some colors and shades, I can finish the work with completely different ones, covering and overlapping each layer many times. But, like the emotions experienced, each stroke leaves its mark on the surface, forming a unique texture.

Alexander Dubovsky was born in Ukraine. In 1877 he graduated from an art school. In 1978 Alexander moved to Moscow and started his full-time art career. He still lives here with his wife Nina, children and grandchildren. Alexander developed his own recognizable handwriting in the technique of impressionism. The theme of his paintings is urban and natural landscape. In urban landscapes the artist conveys the life of cities that changes and transforms depending on the time of year and weather. In the landscapes of Dubovsky you can find night landscapes, sunsets, dawns, cities in cloudy and rainy weather, or vice versa, illuminated by the bright midday sunlight. "In my paintings I convey the movement on the streets, the life of people who are going somewhere. I like to depict landscapes of past centuries, and this is a historical monument that takes all of us to the past. I see architecture, especially ancient, as the frozen music of the universe and it inspires me," says Alexander. In 1989 he joined the Moscow Union of Artists and the International Foundation. In 2006 he was educated at the at the Faculty of Fine Arts of MPGU in Moscow. Since the 80s he has been a participant in personal, international, group exhibitions. His paintings are in private collections around the world. Now the artist is in Europe, collecting material for future artwork.

Добрый день.
Зовут меня Вартуи , я из Праги, а сама родом из Армении.
Любовь к искусству меня приучила мама, я с детство ходила на музыку, и всю свою жизнь я связала со скрипкой. Параллельно к меня всегда был интерес к рисованию. Я быстро схватываю и вообще многие говорят что к меня талант, но я не особо верю в это :)
Скромность это мое второе Имя. Начала рисовать я в Милане, меня вдохновила из архитектура . Начала я с обычной архитектуры ( ручкой на бумаге ) и у меня сразу начало получаться ( учитывая то, что я никогда нигде не училась) Вернувшись в Прагу , я все таки попробовала рисовать маслом. И влюбилась. Я начала рисовать каждый день. Многим нравится и меня это очень радует.
Сюда я решила написать , дабы проверить, если действительно в моих картинах что-то иметься , либо это только позвала от моих друзей и не более.:)
За неделю я нарисовала 5 картин. Первую я продала на аукционе за 500 эвро, сама неожидая этого. Но это было с учетом того, что все деньги я пошлю на благотворительный фонд В Армению. Что так и произошло. И это было для меня большим шагом, что наверно я действительно могу помагать, творить, и радовать людей :)
