Rainer Fetting is a German painter and sculptor.
Rainer Fetting was one of the co-founders and main protagonists of the Galerie am Moritzplatz in Berlin, founded in the late 1970s by a group of young artists (mainly painters) from the class of Karl Horst Hödicke at the former Berliner Hochschule für Bildende Künste (Berlin Art Academy, today known as Universität der Künste). Fetting is now one of the internationally best known contemporary German artists, having created a large oeuvre of expressive figurative paintings covering many different kinds of subject-matter, as well as many bronze sculptures.
Christo Yavashev is a Bulgarian-born American sculptor and artist who, with his wife Jeanne-Claude de Guillebon, became famous for his work, in which he «packaged» objects ranging from a typewriter and a car to the Reichstag building and an entire seashore.
Albert Birkle was a German and Austrian painter, decorator, muralist and glass painter.
Albert's father was the artist Karl Birkle, from whom he received his initial training as a decorative painter, then studied at the Hochschule für die bildenden Künste (now the Berlin University of the Arts). Birkle developed a unique style based on Expressionism and the New Objectivity/Neue Sachlichkeit style. His subjects were lonely, mystical landscapes, typical scenes of Berlin in the 20s and 30s, portraits and religious scenes.
In 1932, fleeing the National Socialists, Albert Birkle moved to Salzburg, Austria, but nevertheless represented Germany at the Venice Biennale as early as 1936. In 1937, his work was declared "degenerate" in Germany and withdrawn from state collections. In 1946, Birkle was granted Austrian citizenship and began working on religious frescoes and decorative windows for various churches and oil paintings. The 1950s and 60s were filled with intense creativity in glass painting.

Häberlin then moved to Stuttgart and became a prolific illustrator. He was professor of genre painting at the Academy of Applied Arts in Stuttgart from 1868 to 1885. Häberlin also worked on large-scale murals on the Dominican island in Konstanz from 1878 to 1894, depicting scenes from the island's history. He received the Medal of Honor of the Order of the Crown of Württemberg in 1901.
