Peder Mork Monsted (Danish: Peder Mørk Mønsted) was a Danish realist painter, representative of the Golden Age of Danish painting.
Monsted studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and gradually developed his own style of academic naturalism, almost photorealistic. During his long career, P. Monsted traveled extensively, often visiting Switzerland, Italy, North Africa, Greece, where he was a guest of the royal family and for a year painted their portraits.
Favorite themes of the artist were Danish landscapes - snowy winter or summer landscapes with boats on the water, forest. From the beginning of the XX century and until his death P. Monsted was one of the most popular and wealthy artists. He was especially popular in Germany among the Munich public.

Olafur Eliasson is an Icelandic–Danish artist known for sculptured and large-scale installation art employing elemental materials such as light, water, and air temperature to enhance the viewer's experience. In 1995 he established Studio Olafur Eliasson in Berlin, a laboratory for spatial research. In 2014, Eliasson and his long-time collaborator, German architect Sebastian Behmann founded Studio Other Spaces, an office for architecture and art. Olafur represented Denmark at the 50th Venice Biennale in 2003 and later that year installed The Weather Project, which has been described as «a milestone in contemporary art», in the Turbine Hall of Tate Modern, London.
Per Kirkeby was a Danish painter, poet, film maker and sculptor.
Tal Rosenzweig, known as Tal R, is a Danish contemporary artist of Israeli origin.
Tal R studied painting at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. In 2001 he received a studio grant from the city of Mönchengladbach. Since 2005 Tal R has been teaching at the Dusseldorf Academy of Art.
Axel Johannes Salto was an internationally renowned Danish ceramic artist. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1909 to 1914.
Axel Salto visited Paris in 1916, where he met Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse. This meeting was a landmark for Salto's creative ambitions and his influence on the innovative ideas of the time.
Throughout the 1920s his artistic focus shifted from painting to ceramics, and between 1923 and 1950 he created around 3,000 different ceramic pieces.
From the mid-1930s he worked mainly at the Royal Porcelain Factory in Copenhagen. Here Salto developed his ceramics, experimenting with unusually rich glazes and organic shapes.
