Картина «Холодает» написана под впечатлением от поездки в «Ачаирский монастырь». Конечно, образы храмов я немного переработала и убрала лишние постройки и заборы, как бы окунувшись в прошлое, где много частных домиков и упряжек с лошадьми и классических церквей и нет современных построек.
Закатные лучи солнца откидывают свои теплые блики на снег. Это последние теплые лучи, дальше будет только холодней, приходит зима и погода меняется.

The sunset rays of the sun cast their warm reflections on the snow. These are the last warm rays, it will only get colder, winter comes and the weather changes.
