Georges Emile Henri Servant (1828-1890) worked in the foundry of his father on the Rue Vieille-du-Temple since 1855. He is specialized in the production of Egyptian and Greek themes. Exhibited in many international exhibitions of this period, including the world exhibition in Paris in 1855 and London in 1862, where he was appreciated for the good quality of their work. His success was confirmed at the Paris exhibition of 1867 in Paris, where he received a gold medal for his neo-Greek and Egyptian models. In 1874 he received the highest award of the French Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.
