Jeweils mit feldgrauem Pappeinband mit aufgedrucktem EK und "Kriegserinnerungen" sowie handschriftlicher Jahresangabe in den Größen von 32,5 x 23 bis 28 x 21 cm.
Das 1. Album von 1914 mit ca. 28 beschrifteten Fotos u.a. aus Ostpreußen sowie einer Taschenrangliste des 1. Reservekorps. Das 2. Album von 1915 mit ca. 90 beschrifteten Fotos von den Kämpfen im Baltikum. Das 3. Album von 1916/1917 mit ca. 100 beschrifteten 100 u.a. aus Galizien vom Besuch Kaiser Karls von Österreich, GFM von Mackensen und aus Rumänien. Das 4. Album von 1917 mit ca. 90 beschrifteten Fotos u.a. vom Besuch Kaiser Wilhelm II. bei Focșani und Ordensverleihungen. Das 5. Album von 1917/1918 mit ca. 80 beschrifteten Fotos von der rumänischen Front. Das 6. Album von 1918 mit ca. 95 beschrifteten Fotos aus Nordfrankreich und Belgien. Das 7. Album von 1918/1919 mit 17 Fotos und Postkarten, u.a. einem sehr schönen Portrait von Vett mit PLM und Unterschrift. Das 8. Album mit ca. 50 eingeklebten Meldungen, Befehlen, Telegrammen, Zeitungsauschnitten etc. von 1915 bis 1919, von und an Vett, unter anderem auch der Befehl mit der Verleihung des Pour le Mérite an Vett am 6.10.1918, Schreiben des Generals der Infanterie und Befehlshabers der 9. Armee mit Originalunterschrift. Eine sehr umfangreiche Fundgrube.
Insgesamt über 500 Fotos, alle mit der persönlichen Beschriftung durch General von Vett. Dazu eine englische Beschreibung der Fotoalben mit den militärgeschichtlichen Hintergründen über 6 Seiten Din A 4.
Provenienz: Aus dem persönlichen Besitz von Generalleutnant Detlev von Vett (1859 - 1927). Vett erhielt den PLM am 4.10.1918 während der Rückzugsgefechte auf die Siegfriedstellung als Kdr. der 216. ID.

Each album has a field-grey cardboard cover emblazoned with an Iron Cross and "Kriegserinnerungen" (War Memories) as well as a handwritten year, sizes varying from 32.5 x 23 to 28 x 21 cm.
The 1st album from 1914 with approx. 28 labelled photos from East Prussia and other regions, as well as an address book of the 1st Reserve Corps. The 2nd album from 1915 with approx. 90 labelled photos from the battles in the Baltic. The 3rd album from 1916/1917 with approx. 100 labelled photos, for example from Galicia depicting the visit of Emperor Karl of Austria, GFM von Mackensen and from Romania. The 4th album from 1917 with approx. 90 labelled photos, depicting the visit of Kaiser Wilhelm II to Focșani and medal ceremonies. The 5th album from 1917/1918 with approx. 80 labelled photos with scenes from the Romanian front. The 6th album from 1918 with approx. 95 labelled photos from northern France and Belgium. The 7th album from 1918/1919 with 17 photos and postcards, including a representative portrait of Vett with PLM and signature. The 8th album with approx. 50 messages, orders, telegrams, newspaper cuttings, etc. glued to the album pages, dating from 1915 to 1919, from and to Vett, including the order awarding the Pour le Mérite to Vett on 6th October 1918, letter from the Infantry General and Commander of the 9th Army with original signature. A very extensive collection.

Provenance: From the personal estate of Lieutenant General Detlev von Vett (1859 - 1927). Vett received the PLM on 4th October 1918 during the retreat to the Siegfried position as commander of the 216th ID.
