Le Theatre de Pierre Corneille, revu et corrigé par l'auteur. Rouen et se vend à Paris : Guillaume de Luynes [et Thomas Jolly pour le t.IV], 1668.
Élégant exemplaire en maroquin de l'époque.
Il s'agit de la réimpression de l'édition au format in-folio parue chez Billaine, Jolly et de Luyne en 1663, 1664 et 1665. Elle fut imprimée à Rouen par Maurry. Brunet la considère importante car "l'auteur l'a revue avec soin, et [...] les pièces qui la composent présentent de nombreuses différences avec les éditions originales. Parmi les pièces qui composent cette édition, on trouve Médée, Le Cid, Horace, Andromède, Oedipe, Othon ou Attila. Elle est précédée par un "Discours de l'utilité et des parties du poème dramatique", comprend le "Discours de la tragédie et des moyens de la traiter, selon le vray-semblable ou le necessaire" et le "Discours des trois unitez d'action, de jour, & de lieu" et se clôt par le" Poëme sur les victoires du Roi".
4 vol. in-12 (147 x 80 mm). (t. I : Déchirure au feuillet àvi sans atteinte ; t. III : manque au feuillet Yvii au coin supérieur droit avec atteinte au numéro de page ; t. IV : restauration au coin inférieur droit des ff. àviii et Dvii). Reliure de l'époque : maroquin rouge, triple filet doré d'encadrement des plats, dos à nerfs richement orné, roulette dorée intérieure et aux coupes, tranches dorées. (Restaurations aux parties supérieures des charnières du t. II, à la coiffe de tête du t. III ; le t. IV a été dérelié pour être lavé et replacé dans sa reliure d'origine).

Auctions are performed by auction houses and each of the auction houses describes their terms of auction. You can see the texts in the section "Auction information".
The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
