Rare édition de ce "roman féminin" révélant les "espiègleries de la vie galante". Cette édition, publiée à Bruxelles au début des années 1890, est la première à être signalée dans un catalogue clandestin de 1894 présentant l'ouvrage comme une nouveauté. Ce catalogue vante les mérites d'un livre dressant "la peinture exacte des moeurs érotiques et passionnés de notre époque débauchée" qui sera "lu et relu par les femmes surtout" et cite également une édition princeps tirée à 65 exemplaires à Bruxelles, dont on ne connaît aucun exemplaire, ainsi que la publication de six figures d'illustration, absentes dans cet exemplaire. In-12 (181 x 110 mm) de 95 pp. Bandeaux gravés, fleuron aux trois amours jouant gravé sur la page de titre. Reliure de l'époque : veau blond, encadrement central formé d'un double filet doré et pointillés avec fleurons d'angle, double filet doré et roulette en encadrement, dos à nerfs orné de caissons et petits fers dorés, pièce de titre en maroquin olive, dentelle intérieure dorée, tête dorée.
