Une monographie périgourdine consacrée à la truffe et illustrée de 13 lithographies : exemplaire avec envoi de l'auteur.

Édition originale. La première partie de l'ouvrage est consacrée à la création et l'entretien d'une truffière, tandis que la seconde livre les recherches scientifiques de l'auteur, indiquant par exemple les signes distinctifs des bonnes truffes et s'attardant sur les falsifications et vols de truffes. Le chapitre XI est consacré aux recettes à base de truffes : essence de truffes, sauce Périgueux, dinde truffée... Vicaire, 101 (ne signale que 12 planches).



In-8 (218 x 135 mm). Illustré de 13 lithographies à pleine page et nombreuses figures dans le texte (infimes piqûres éparses, couverture passée). Reliure moderne signée J.P. Laurenchet : demi-chagrin chocolat, dos à nerfs orné de fleurons dorés, couvertures conservées.
