Bronze mit hellgrüner Patina. Jeweils hohl gegossener, konischer und achtfach facettierter Aufsatz mit Adlerkopf als Bekrönung. Seitlich jeweils massiver Haken in Form eines stilisierten Wasservogelkopfes für die Riemen zur Aufhängung des Wagens. Schöne grüne Patina. Höhe 12,5 und 13 cm.
Provenienz: Süddeutsche Privatsammlung.
A pair of Roman bronze wagon fittings, 1st/2nd century A.D.
Bronze with light green patina. Each in the shape of a hollow cast, conical and eight-fold faceted fitting surmounted by an eagle's head. Robust hook shaped like a stylised bird's head as strap holder of the wagon suspension on either side. Nice green patina. Heights 12.5 and 13 cm.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
