Das Tafelklavier wurde mit "Gulielmus Glover 1776 in London" signiert. Das Instrument in Mahagoni ruht auf einem englischen trestle stand. Das Instrument hat drei Handzüge, welche die Dämpfung und den Lautenzug betätigen. Das Tafelklavier besitzt eine englische single-action Mechanik, sowie eine englische Einzeltondämpfung (geteilt: GG-c#1 und d1-f3). Die Klaviatur (GG-f3) hat ein Stichmaß von 48,1cm. Die Hämmerchen sind beledert.

ENGLISH SQUAREPIANO SIGNED GULIELMUS GLOVER, LONDON 1776
The squarepiano was signed with "Gulielmus Glover 1776 in London".The instrument veneered with mahogany rests on an English trestle-stand. The instrument has three hand stops which operate the damping and the lute-stop. The piano has an English single-action action and an English single-note damping (divided: GG-c#1 and d1-f3). The keyboard (GG-f3) has a 3-octave-span of 48.1cm. The hammers are covered with leather.

The piano is restored and in playing condition. The restoration has been very carefully carried out by Lucy Coad.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
