Johann Müller (1798-1863) war Klavierbauer in zweiter Generation in Berlin. Das vorliegende, restaurierte Instrument wurde um 1830 gebaut. Die Dämpfungsaufhebung wird mittels Kniehebel gesteuert. Im Inneren befindet sich ein stoffbespannter Rahmen, welcher als Staubboden dient. Weiter verfügt das Instrument über zwei Kerzenhalter aus Messing.
Das seitenstimmige Tafelklavier besitzt eine englische Stoßzungenmechanik, sowie eine Einzeltondämpfung. Die Dämpfung ist nicht geteilt. Die Klaviatur mit dem ungewöhnlichen Umfang EE-g4 hat ein Stichmaß von 47,2cm. Das mit belederten Hämmerchen ausgestattete Instrument besitzt einen einteiligen Steg.

Johann Müller (1798-1863) was a second-generation piano maker in Berlin. This instrument was built around 1830, and is in restored condition. The damper lift is controlled by a knee lever. Inside the instrument there is a fabric-covered frame which serves as a dustcover. The instrument also has two brass candle holders.
The piano has an English action and a single-note damping system. The damping is not divided. The keyboard with the unusual range EE-g4 has a 3-octave-span of 47.2cm. The hammers are covered with leather. The bridge is not divided.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
