Italienische Ideallandschaft mit rastenden Hirten an einem Fluss
Blick auf eine baumbestandene, arkadische Campagna-Landschaft, im Mittelgrund ein pittoreskes Architekturensemble mit rundem Turm. Von den zwei Hirten ist einer mit einer Fellweste bekleidet, der andere als Aktfigur in sinnierender Pose, wohl nach einem Bad im Fluss, geschildert. In Motiv, Komposition und Stil charakteristisches Werk des flämischstämmigen Malers, der selten signierte. J. F. van Bloemen ging 1689 nach Rom, wo er ein höchst erfolgreicher Maler wurde, der u. a. große Veduten für prominente Auftraggeber wie die Königin von Spanien Elizabeth Farnese, den Papst und den römischen Adel ausführte. Er trat den Bentvueghels als der Vereinigung niederländischer und flämischer Künstler in Rom bei, wo er den Spitznamen L'Orizzonte erhielt. Mit Vorliebe schilderte der Künstler die Campagna-Landschaft in idealisierender Weise mit Ruinen, Wasserfällen, Brücken und Hirten. Beeinflusst durch Claude Lorrain und Gaspard Dughet, kam er letzterem bald im Ruhm gleich. Werke des Künstlers besitzen u. a. die Eremitage, der Louvre und die Staatl. Kunsthalle in Karlsruhe. 50 cm x 65 cm. Klassizistischer Rahmen.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
