Liegender Löwe. Das Maul geöffnet, die mächtige Mähne fällt in feinen Strähnen nach hinten. Der Schwanz ist umgebogen, sodass das Ende auf dem linken Schenkel des Tieres ruht. Ausbruch in der Mitte des Schwanzes. Sonst intakt. Länge 5,8 cm. Feine, überaus seltene naturalistische Schnitzarbeit!

Provenienz: Aus rheinland-pfälzischer Sammlung, übernommen vom Vater.

Lying lion. The mouth open, the mighty mane falling backwards in fine strands. The tail is bent over so that the end rests on the left thigh of the animal. Break in the middle of the tail. Otherwise intact. Length 5.8 cm. Fine, extremely rare naturalistic carving!

Provenance: Private collection in Rhineland-Palantine, by descent from the father.
